Subject	stillen lower radiator pipe purpose?

Message	Is the only purpose to upgrade to the stillen lower radiator pipe over the stock sillicon one because the stock sillicon one is flimsy and tends to break or collapse over time? Does the car run cooler with the stillin pipe over the stock hose?
